Since a few days whenever I configure Dropbox sync I get a lot of changes of the contents.js file and also a lot of conflict copies in my Dropbox folder. It has probably something to do with me updating Dropbox on my iMac but forgetting to start Dropbox again after the update and then adding a new item on my iMac. After starting Dropbox again on the iMac the issue started.

I already tried the steps mentioned here:

https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/23506/conflicted-contents-js

and here:

https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/24548/sync-problem-with-custom-named-primary-keychain

But that didn't help

My setup:

  • 1 MacBook Pro

  • 1 iMac

  • 1 iPhone

  • 1 iPad

All use the latest version of 1 Password 4
For now I disabled Sync on all devices except the MacBook Pro

Any help would be appriciated

    Hi @PolarMoonScape‌

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble here. I'd like to take a closer look at your system to see if we can figure out what's going on here. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report from your iMac?

    http://learn2.agilebits.com/1Password4/diagnostic-report.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Megan,

I send 2 reports to the Agile Support Jedi: 1 from my MacBook Pro and 1 from my iMac

Also made a screenshot from my Dropbox folder, showing all the conflict files (just for good measure :) )

Please use my Gmail address to reply (if needed), since I do not check my iCloud address that often

    Cheers,
    PolarMoonScape

    Hi @PolarMoonScape‌

Thanks for sending that Report in! I was unable to find an email in our system from the address you attached to your forum account. If you could send me a private message with the address that you used to send in the Report, I'd be happy to track it down and ensure it gets answered quickly. Found it, and working with you through email. :)
