Search list doesn't update when results object is edited

I searched for a login from main hierarchy screen. I clicked on it. Edited the user name. Saved. Returned back to the search rests. The item still showed the original username. I clicked the login again and viewed that the change did indeed save.

Clearing the search and navigating into the login via the hierarchy shows the correct, new info.
