Impossible to install 1PW extension in Firefox 16.0.2

Hi,
I have installed 1PW 4.4 and extension in Safari without any problem while in firefox appears a message that the extension in not compatible with Firefox 16.0.2.
Any suggestions?

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble installing the Firefox extension. Unfortunately, the 1Password 4 extension does require a minimum of Firefox 24. Are you able to update your browser?
