Cannot Fill Item in Web Browser

For mysterious reasons I have been getting "Cannot Fill Item in Web Browser" error when trying to fill in passwords in either Chrome or Firefox. According to the error message, "Web Browser is connected but its code signature could not be verified. Filling and other features are disabled until this configuration issue is resolved." None of the conditions in the Troubleshooting Guide seem to apply. The only way I was able to restore the filling function was to disable browser code signature validation. But I still have no idea why this problem pop up all of a sudden or what I can do to enable browser code signature validation again for better protection.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble here. Do you by chance have Sophos installed on your system? Please follow the instructions here: Configuring Sophos to ensure that Sophos isn't blocking any communication here.
