1Password4 will not start [try reinstalling 1Password application; see post #8]
I am running OS X 10.9.3, and the program will not start. What other info can i provide to help?

It says "1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini"

I guess that version number, and whether it is from App Store or direct from AgileBits would be useful information.

I am using the latest version of 1PWD and of the MacOS, and I experienced this same message today. (I don't see a post#40)

I'm having the same problem and get this message below. It seems to have happened after this latest update. Really frustrating when I'm trying to login to my bank, websites, etc.

Have you tried reinstalling the 1Password application and did that fix the problem for you?
