Forcing 1pwd to use one browser

This is not intuitive, so I am asking. When I select "open and fill" for any password, 1pswd4 launches Safari despite having UNINSTALLED the 1password extension for Safari (and even restarting my Mac). I want it to use Chrome. The Chrome extension is installed.

    Obviously I don't know how you are setup overall, but this sounds to me like you have Safari configured as your default browser. You might check your settings.

    You can select the "Default web browser" preference in Safari for the web browser that 1Password open and fill (and other applications) will use:

    You may have Safari selected there, like @hawkmoth mentioned, instead of Chrome.
