Can't open and fill with IMDB.com

I've been on a quest to make all my logins work properly with the 'Open and Fill' function of 1Password, but have come a cropper with IMDB. From almost 120 login ids, it's one of the only ones that I can't get to work properly (along with KLM, but I think that has to do with the login url being dynamically generated every time).

The IMDB.com login has a very convoluted system - first you click on 'Log in' at the top right, then you have to choose your 'Provider' (In my case IMDB), and only THEN does it give you the log in fields, PLUS you have to fill in a captcha. It's quite ridiculous. But if there's any way to get 1Password to get it all up and fill in the email and password at least, that would be great.

As to the KLM site, I can't make head nor tail of it. Any thoughts welcome!

    Hi Hamish,

Please try saving a new login manually at this URL:

    https://secure.imdb.com/oauth/login?origurl=http://www.imdb.com/&show_imdb_panel=1

You will also need to change the submit setting to Never submit so that you can manually fill in the Captcha:

Please let me know if that helps! :)

Yep, that's certainly a help thanks. Annoyingly, once you fill in the Captcha and submit, it goes to yet another window saying "We have logged you in. If this window doesn't automatically close, please close the window." - so you have to close the window and open a new imdb tab again. Ridiculous!
:-/ For such a large and well used site, this should really be a lot simpler. Thanks for the answer though - it lessens the pain a bit!

Now if we can just figure out KLM...

    Hi Hamish,

Maybe try changing the URL of the IMDb login to this, and see if it helps: https://secure.imdb.com/oauth/login?origurl=http://www.imdb.com/

What is the URL of the login page you are using for KLM? We can take a look at it too.

    Hi Jasper,

Thanks for the idea, but still seems to be the same. I think the login url expects to be in a pop up window or something. :/ But it's still better than it was.

KLM is a tricky little devil. The Log In page appears to be an overlay layer over whatever page you're currently on, so there's no fixed url for it... I was trying https://www.klm.com/home/bh/en#g_np_mya-overlay=1 - but if you put that straight in to a new tab it shows the homepage behind it again. There may be a single log-in page somewhere, but darned if I can find it! Let me know if you have any thoughts about it!

    Hi Hamish,

I think you're right in searching for a single log-in page somewhere for KLM - that seems to be the best option for getting a one-click Login working here. In the meantime, I can log in by clicking the 'Log In' button on the main page to show the overlay and using ⌘\ to fill and submit my details. It is an extra click, but hopefully it's workable. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you here, please do let us know if any other sites are misbehaving for you! :)

Thanks Megan, I'm using the method you mentioned - just being lazy wanting one click access! Only IMDB and KLM gave me problems - all 120 other sites I have listed are behaving perfectly!

    Hi Hamish,

I'm with you, I'd love one-click access on ALL of the sites too! But 2 out of 120 isn't a bad start. :)
