Is .ws.agile.1Password.settings Still Required?

I've been using 1Password since version 3 on OS X and iOS. The presence of the ".ws.agile.1Password.settings" file really annoys me as it always shows up at the top of the root listing in the Dropbox iOS app. Is this still used by 1Password 4 for OS X or iOS? If not, is it safe to remove as long as I don't use 1Password 3 anymore. If so, can the need for this file please be removed? Thanks!

    Hi @ununnilium‌,

    Thanks for the question!

If you are running 1Password 4.4 or later on your Mac and 1Password 4.5.1 or later on your iOS devices (and only those versions), then the .ws.agile.1Password.settings file is not needed anymore and can safely be removed.

If, however, you are syncing with any of the following, it is still required:

    • 1Password Reader for Android
    • 1Password for Windows Phone
