Problem syncing to wifi

I sync 1P on my iMac with 1P on my iPad using wifi sync. To date, it has worked fine. Over the last couple days, however, 1P on the iPad indicated the sync has started, but then it times out. See attached images.

I turned off both devices, turned then back on, turned off wifi, turned it back on, etc. No luck. Wifi is working fine on all other devices for all other purposes, so not sure why this problem is arising with 1P sync. Any ideas? Thx
