Clipboard utility stores all 1P passwords generated

I use a clipboard utility called jumpcut. It stores a large number of copy results when I need to reuse snippets of text. I just noticed that all of my recent 1P passwords either copied and pasted or generated and filled. I have the osx clipboard to clear after a number of seconds in 1P, but that does not stop jumpcut of storing all of these passwords along with other clips. I've found recent references to a similar problem on android, but is this a more general problem?

  • Hi @bradinsedona,

I wouldn't recommend using a clipboard manager if it stores all your passwords copied from 1Password in plain text.

Many clipboard managers exclude secure data copied from 1Password. For example, Alfred ignores anything copied from 1Password.
