Keyboard Localization Bug on iPad?

I had a hunt around the various threads and couldn't find a specific report of a bug that I'm experiencing with 1P for iOS that is more of an annoyance than a show stopper.

After launching the app on an iPad it prompts for a master password with a US English keyboard rather than the UK English keyboard that I have set in my Settings->General->Keyboards even after explicitly removing the US keyboard. This means to select certain characters such as '£' symbol requires digging around in 'sub' 'sub' menus.

This never used to be a problem but seems to have started reasonably recently (month or two ago).

Another thing to note is that this is on iPad only. iPhone does not suffer this same behaviour.

Is this by design?

    Thanks for writing to us about this issue. Our developers have had some conversations around this, but it doesn't seem we have anything definitive yet and more research is required. We appreciate your input.
