Deleting all thumbnails & icons from 1Password vault

Is it possible to remove all the thumbnails and icons from my existing 1Password vault?

I have already unchecked the 'Automatically download icons for new Logins' preferences option, but there are a few hundred legacy thumbnails that I would like to delete to speed up new Dropbox syncs.

    Good question, @djh. Just so we're on the same page, can you verify what version of 1Password you are using? It sounds like you are using 1Password 3 for Mac which actually does sync the icons. However, in 1Password 4 we changed this by adding a "Rich Icons" feature so that the icons are only stored locally and don't need to sync. I think you may like that option. :)
