Why do I have to enter both the 4 digit pass code and then the full Master Password?

I am running iOS 8 on my iPad 2.

    Hi Mel,

    Could you please tell me a little more about this situation? What version of 1Password, specifically, do you have on your iPad 2? Does this occur every time? Are you positive you are entering your PIN correctly? If you are prompted for your PIN, and enter it incorrectly, you will be prompted for your Master Password.

    Hi bwoodruff.

    I am running 1Password 5 on my iPad 2. The iPad 2 is running iOS 8 (not 8.0.1). It happens every time. I am positive of my PIN. Should I reset it? Just to be sure.
