Sorry it the title is not too clear! What I'm trying to do is:

There are some websites where I might login from different pages. For example:

www.domain.com/signin
www.domain.com/buytickets/signin

I was under the impression (form years of using 1Password) that 1Password would manage this by me simply having the website address as:

www.domain.com

But this no longer seems to be working. An example is www.starbucks.co.uk

I don't believe there is an issue with https or http. I have tried entering the address both with the full url:

https://www.starbucks.co.uk
http://www.starbucks.co.uk
www.starbucks.co.uk

All to no avail.

While you're answering, can you also clarify how 1Password handles the "www" portion. Some websites will function with or without the "www" - if I have a loving record as "starbucks.com" will it support "www.starbucks.com" as well as say "forums.starbucks.com"?

Thanks,

Nic.

I'd say there are two things you can try.

    1. There is a Lenient URL Matching option in the Browser section of Preferences. Turning that one will probably achieve what you're looking for.
    2. Add multiple website fields to an entry, one for each address you want it to apply to.

There are advantages to 2. That way you can make better use of the go to this address and fill in the details feature.

    Hi Nic ( @fletchni ),

I hope either or both of @littlebobbytables's suggestions works for you.

    You also asked:

If you have a Login item that only includes starbucks.com in the URL of its website field you won't be able to use Go & Fill with it to a more specific forums.starbucks.com page. That would instead open and try to fill whatever page starbucks.com opens with (e.g. www.startbucks.com). But if you first open the forums.starbucks.com page, then you can use that item to fill with (e.g. by pressing the Command-\ (⌘\) keyboard shortcut for Fill Login on current web page).

And if you have multiple website fields for a single item, with starbucks.com and forums.starbucks.com in their URLs, you can use Go & Fill with either them. That's the advantage with option 2 that @littlebobbytables mentioned. :)
