Can I delete Cache files

While backing up my computer, SuperDuper failed on an error while trying to copy a couple files in my /Library/Caches/com.agilebits.onepassword4/fsCachedData/ folder (it was an I/O error). A direct Finder copy also failed. Looking like those files may be corrupt. 1Password4 (Mac) seems to run fine though.

Question is - is it OK to delete 1Password4's files in that folder? Are they for temporary storage or would deleting them mess up 1Password4?

thanks
kevin

I've never personally done so but I wouldn't think twice about wiping out a cache folder if I needed to. All I'd say is maybe don't do so when 1Password or 1Password Mini are running. With 1Password in focus, use ⌃⌘Q to quit both in one go.

  • Hi @khousen,

littlebobbytables is correct, you can delete the 1Password caches folder but you have to quit both 1Password and 1Password mini first.
