I tried following the instruction by downloading the 1 Password from the web site but after dragging it to the application folder it doesn't do anything.
It doesn't ask me to replace it the original 1Password.
The 1password remains 4.4.2.0 -
Did you by chance purchase 1Password from the Mac App Store? The update to 4.4.3 is only necessary for webstore customers, as it fixes a glitch in the updater that is not used in the Mac App Store version.
Please check in your Applications folder - do you now have one app titled '1Password' and one titled '1Password 4'?
