    Hi @dealtek‌,

If I understand correctly, you wish to sort the top items in 1Password mini?

If that's the case, please note that the top items (matching logins) in 1Password mini are shown above the Favorites and are ordered by title.

Basically, 1Password mini will show you all Login items that can fill the current website ordered by title. There currently isn't a way to reorder them in neither 1Password 4 nor 1Password 5.

    I hope that this helps.

    Cheers!

    Rad

    Hi,

In my case this was not entirely true.... I figured it out - this is what was happening.... when logging into = https://accounts.google.com

I had several login choices - and they were NOT sorted alphabetically

    • here's why.... A few older entrees had a different url - of either of these....

    https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?hl=en&continue=http://video.google.com/
    or
    https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false

so therefore that URL was part of the primary sort!!!

when I made them all the top url - THEN THEY SORTED PROPERLY!

    Thanks for the assist...

  • Hi @dealtek,

On behalf of Rad, you're welcome. I'm glad to hear you were able to get this sorted out.

FYI: The items in 1Password mini are sorted using three criteria — subdomain matching, favorites, and alphabetical order.

When a page is active in your web browser, the logins for that website will be displayed in this order (by default):

    1. Favorites (subdomain match)
    2. Alphabetical order (subdomain match)
    3. Favorites (same domain, but different subdomain, such as www.google.com on accounts.google.com)
    4. Alphabetical order (same domain, but different subdomain)

If "Lenient URL matching" (under Preferences > Browser) is enabled, subdomains will be ignored, and the sort order will be:

    1. Favorites (for any subdomain on domain.com)
    2. Alphabetical order (for any subdomain on domain.com)

Please let us know if you have any other questions. We're always happy to help! :)
