1Password Icon not showing after upgrading to Firefox 33

After upgrading to FF 33 just now, the 1P icon vanished from the icon bar and is also not shown in FF's customize dialog.
I had extension v4.2.4 (latest ga release) installed and have tried reinstalling as well as the v4.2.5.b1 beta version.

I use a MacBook 15" Retina mid-2014 and Yosemite with 1P5.
Any suggestions?

    Hi Marcus ( @mlo ),

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Firefox extension. Please ensure that you are up to date with the latest version of 1Password ( v 5.0.2), then try this:

    • Open 1Password.
    • Click the 1Password menu, hold down the Control key, and select Quit 1Password and 1Password mini.
    • Restart the Mac.
    • Relaunch 1Password.

    You will get better behaviour with the beta version of the extension at this time.
