Master password not syncing

Hi, I am new to 1P.

I changed my master pw on my mac (Yosemite and 1password5), and I use dropbox for sync but it has not filtered through to my other mac and still using the old one I setup. Same for iPad too but the mac is the important one. Any ideas how to fix or to force a sync, or do master pw have to be separate?

    Thanks so much for your support of 1Password!

    Your Master Password should be the same across all computers and devices, but we have been investigating some cases lately where changes to the Master Password have not been syncing properly. Don't worry, this doesn't mean that your database is out of sync, the data itself and the Master Password are handled differently with respect to sync.

    There are two ways that we can get this sorted. We can reset sync, which will allow 1Password to generate a fresh 1Password.agilekeychain file in Dropbox with the updated Master Password, or you can simply change your Master Password on the other devices so that it matches your newly changed one.

    If you'd like instructions on how to reset sync, please let me know!
