Locked out after import attempt

  1. Have been using v3 for a long, long time.
  2. Purchased v5
  3. Noticed it had a feature to auto import from v3
  4. I told it to import, it flipped apps over to v3 (login pin prompt)
  5. I input my pin, and it just took me to my list of passwords, but didn't initiate the import or give me an error message
  6. Flip back over to v5, no data imported, no error message, nothing
  7. Tried again, same behavior, flips to v3 but does nothing else
  8. Gave up on v5, shut both apps down
  9. Now today, I launch v3, and my pin no longer works.

I am 1000000000% certain I am entering the correct pin. I have been using 1Password for a long time now and I used the same pin for v5, which works, but the damn thing is empty because the import never worked.

Am I screwed?

    Hi @George J Garcia‌,

    The import wouldn't modify anything in 1Password 3 for iOS. Try rebooting your iPhone just in case and see if you can get back into 1Password.

    It should ask if you want to open 1Password once you unlock 1Password 3 unless you're not using 3.7.2. Can you tell me if you're using the 3.7.2 version?
