    Hi @ronen,

Are you seeing an error message? If so, we'll try restarting 1Password mini:

    • Open 1Password.
    • Click the 1Password menu, hold down the Control key, and select Quit 1Password and 1Password mini.
    • Restart the Mac.
    • Relaunch 1Password.

    Does this help?

    Hi.

I don't see any error message.

    1. Should I continue as you've recommended ?

    2. If so, restarting can damage my
      1password date?

    3. Thanks.

  • Hi @ronen,

You can try restarting mini like Megan mentioned, it won't affect your 1Password data.

Why do you think automatic backups are not working correctly? What isn't happening the way you expect?

    Hi.
    Thanks.

After opening 1P and use it for 10 minutes or so ,

I don't see any backup made in backup prefrences window.

I can see previous backups - but I think that thay made by me.

    Hi @ronen,

It sounds like the trouble you're having with backups might be caused by this bug that's been fixed in 5.1.BETA-1:

    • Fixed problem where backups were not visible in some languages.

When you open System Preferences > Language & Region, what is the Primary language and is Time format ☐ 24-Hour Time enabled or disabled?

    Hi @ronen‌,

Automatic backups are performed daily only if your database changed. Meaning that if you haven't updated (created, modified or deleted) any item in your database no backup will be performed.

Let's try this to test if automatic backups work:

    1. Update any item in your database.
    2. Make sure that Always keep 1Password mini running is enabled in Preferences > General.
    3. Wait 24 hours a new automatic backup should be performed.

Please let us know if this helps.

    Cheers!

    Rad

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly :+1: I feel flattered

I take it it all worked fine. If that's the case, this is awesome news indeed!
