Idea: dropbox syncing without dropbox client

is it possible? I am using dropbox only for syncing 1password...

    No not at this time. It has been suggested a couple of times over the years.

    Can an admin add this to the request list. Thanks

    There are pros and cons for using the Dropbox app and the Dropbox API.

    The biggest reason we use the Dropbox app is simplicity and speed. It's easier for us to use something that is already available for Mac (the official Dropbox app), rather than build something ourselves using the API. And more importantly, we find that the Dropbox app is much faster than their third party API.

    Though, the nice thing about the API is we would be able to sync even if the Dropbox app isn't installed (or just not running).
