Move the pop up?

I frequently open 1Password (mini) via the keyboard shortcut. But if my mouse is where the popup appears, then I can't use the keyboard to select an item.

Could you either 1) make it ignore the mouse until the mouse moves, or 2) Make sure the menu never opens under where the mouse is? or 3) Some other way to avoid this happening?
