red letter warning when clicking icon in chrome

when I click on the 1 password icon in chrome it works but there is a red letter warning at the top of the screen that says my trial has expired and I need to buy a license. When I open the 1 pass word application and check the license it shows a valid current license. Does any one know why the warning is showing up?
