Wifi sync security

I would like to know, if someone see/steal my wifi sync secret (but don't know my Matser Password), that person would be able to access my 1Password data on his device

    Hi @aka,

    No. Nobody can see your data without your master password even if they know your Wi-Fi secret code, Dropbox.com password and/or AppleID password (for iCloud sync). Your data is always encrypted by your master password, so nothing can read it without the password to decrypt it first.

    The secret code is meant as a way to authenticate between two devices to ensure you're syncing to the right device, it's not to authenticate your data.
