Password forgot on iPad

I purchased 1Password for my iPad, but in setting it up, I have forgotten the password and cannot get back in. I do not have any data on my iPad.
I do have a working 1Password on my Windows PC. I wanted to sync the 2, but can't get in to my iPAd now.
What can I do, short of purchasing another IOS version for my iPad?

    You won't have to purchase another copy, regardless of your approach. If you delete the iPad app you'll be able to download another copy without paying again, as long as you do so with the same Apple ID. Since you say there aren't any data on your iPad, just delete it and download it again.

    If you have your Windows data synced via Dropbox, you can say that you've used it before when you open the iPad installation and follow the prompts to the vault on Dropbox. You'll need to enter the master password you used to create your vault on the Windows installation, but it should be automatic after that.
