1Password unable to open Dropbox vault

In the past I was able to sync between my Mac and iPad, but with my new iPad 1Password is not able to open the Dropbox vault on my Mac. I have never heard of a password for a vault. Dropbox does not recognize the word vault. I have tried my Dropbox password but that is not accepted. I trashed the first copy of 1Password on my new iPad but that did not help. I am running the latest software on both devices.

    Hi @giladog ,

    All vaults have passwords, that's what lets 1Password encrypt your data. The password for the vault is the same master password that you enter on your Mac when you start 1Password and unlock it. Try setting up sync again and when it asks for the vault password, enter the master password that you use on your Mac to unlock 1Password there.
