    Yes, you can change the master password. I'm sorry but I didn't really understand the second part of the question.

    On what platform are you running 1Password (Windows, OS X, Android, iOS).

    (I see you've also posted the same post in the 1P for Windows forum so I assume you use 1P for Windows. If you confirm I'll move this thread to the 1P for Windows forum, where you will get more help.)

    @guga You can change your master password here:

    1. Start 1Password
    2. Unlock
    3. Click on: File > Preferences (Ctrl+P) > Security
    4. Click on the button labelled "Change Master Password"
