How do I move from one dropbox account to another?

I set up my 1Password account under a business dropbox account, but now want to move it to my personal dropbox account where it should be. How do I do this so I don't lose any data? I am on 1Password 5.

    Hi @Jackovin,

    Great question! You can delete the 1password.agilekeychain file in Dropbox without fear of losing data (except on 1Password for Windows); your vault is stored locally on your Mac, and the Dropbox file is just a copy for the cloud. Though it is a good idea to create a fresh backup locally before you proceed. So, I'd recommend:

    1. On your Mac, go to 1Password > Preferences > Backup > 'Backup Now'
    2. Change the Sync setting from Dropbox to None on all syncing devices
    3. Delete 1Password.agilekeychain from the business Dropbox account
    4. In 1Password on your Mac, change the Sync setting back to Dropbox and point it to your personal account
    5. A new agilekeychain will be created there, to which you can then sync any other devices using 1Password

    This is assuming you don't already have any 1Password data in your personal Dropbox account. If you do, and you don't mind losing it, probably best to delete that before you create the new one in step 4.
