1Password fill up not working on this page

Options

Hi,

I'm trying to use 1Password extension to fill up my username and password on this page:

https://paytm.com/login#

Unfortunately even after using the extension, nothing fills up, the user name and password remain blank. Could you please help?

1Password version - 5.5
iOS version - 8.4.1
Phone - iPhone 5s

    Hi @arnabdas,

Thanks for taking the time to write in about this login. Unfortunately I can confirm your findings: I was unable to get filling working on this page.

I'm moving this post over to our filling board as it is more likely to get eyes on it from our community members there. Sometimes members from our community who also use sites such as this have found workarounds. I am not aware of any off hand.

    Thanks!

    Ben

    Hi @arnabdas,

The issue with 1Password for iOS is we struggle with IFrames. It's sadly a known issue without a workaround and as you can guess, Paytm are using an IFrame for the login screen that pops up. Now there is something that might work but we'll only know after you try to log in. What happens if you try to log into your account using the following URL?

    https://accounts.paytm.com/oauth2/authorize?theme=mp-web&redirect_uri=https://paytm.com/shop/code&is_verification_excluded=false&client_id=paytm-web&type=web_server&scope=paytm&response_type=code#/login

This is essentially what is getting loaded in the end and instead of it being loaded from within https://paytm.com/login# I'm hoping if we visit that page directly you can successfully log in and create a working Login item. We'd love to hear how you get along

@littlebobbytables works perfectly on that link! I guess I should save that as the paytm url on 1Password. Thanks for the help!

    Greetings @arnabdas,

That's great to hear that we've found a workaround for Paytm

My recommendation would be to visit the URL and save a new Login item using our Create a new Login item in Safari guide. Going forward, you could either bookmark the same URL in Safari or if you tap and hold on a URL from inside 1Password you get a small number of options, one of which is to Open in Safari. This is what I do when I want to visit a specific URL stored in a Login item but wish to do so from Safari. After that I use the iOS 1Password Safari Extension to log in. It's just about finding what works best for you at this point
