@pmenon12 we really need from you some basic information in order to help you. Please tell us:
- What version of 1P for Mac you are using (the link will tell you how to find that information)
- Your OS X version number
In the meantime there are two things which may help you. You can refer to this knowledge base article:

If nothing there helps and if you are running the AgileBits store version of 1P (as opposed to the Mac App Store version) and running OS X El Capitan you can try the suggestion in this AgileBits' post.

I can't really add much to what Stephen wrote, but if you are running the version of 1Password from our website (AgileBits Store) on OS X El Capitan, I suspect the solution is in the post he linked to at the end there.
