iPassword for Mac (v3.8.22): How can one display their passwords as text rather than bullets?

Options

Is there a way (without having to enter the "edit" mode and then subsequently click on each individual password) to display passwords (within the 1Password app) as text (i.e.- the actual password) rather than displaying the passwords as bullets? Seems that since one will already have entered the Master Password in order to gain access to the app itself, having to subsequently enter the edit mode and then click on each individual password in order to actually view one's own passwords – this seems both redundant and unnecessary. Is there a way to set up the app so that it will show passwords in their native text, rather than as bullets? Thank you.

    Hi @jwphoto,

    You have two options.

    1. To temporarily show passwords all you need to do is hold down the alt key. As long as it is depressed it will show the password.
    2. To permanently show passwords toggle the Conceal Passwords option that you can find in the View menu.

    Hopefully that helps
