If 1Password on my laptop becomes compromised, will that compromise 1Password on my mobile too?

I'm just wondering. If someone would gain access to 1Password on my laptop,
would they be able to instantly change the Master Password,
and thus immediately lock me out of 1Password on my mobile as well?

Or would the process of changing master password take some time and effort,
so that I would still have access to my logins through 1Password on my mobile in the meantime?

@Magne: Great question! If for some reason you give someone access to your computer with 1Password unlocked (don't try this at home!), they would need to know your Master Password in order to change it. But to be clear, if it's already unlocked, they have access to your data and don't really need to change it.

And while it doesn't apply in this situation, you might be interested to know how 1Password syncs your Master Password between devices. It's pretty cool, so I don't want to spoil it for you. But be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)
