    Hi @sml949,

    Sorry you're experiencing this.

Have you applied the license file? You can go to this site to get a copy of your license : https://agilebits.com/home/licenses

It's possible that you have a 1Password 3 license, which would not work with 1Password 6. Thankfully we have upgrade pricing if you have an existing license file and you can go here and click on "upgrade" to purchase an upgrade license : https://agilebits.com/store

    Hope this helps.

I am going around in circles. I have a license, but can find no place to enter it on my new MacBook.

  • Hi @sml949 ,

I'm sorry you're having trouble entering your license key. Licenses are in the forms of a link or file. It is not something you type into a text field. Where do you have the license? If it's in an email, forward it so that you can read it on your MacBook, and click the link there. It should open up 1Password on the MacBook and license itself.

If you have it in a file (or 1Password Software License item) on another Mac, save that file and transfer it to your MacBook. Double-click it on your MacBook and it will open 1Password and license it.

If you don't have the license email, you can request it be emailed to you here: https://agilebits.com/store/licenses

I hope that helps. If you have further questions, please reply.

    Regards,
    Kevin

  • Hi again @sml949 ,

I forgot to ask, can you confirm what version your license is? Is it from 1Password version 3, or later? With that, we can provide a much more specific answer and help you get up and running.

    Regards,
    Kevin
