Hi

First: I already did the steps as described here https://support.1password.com/autosave-did-not-appear/ and it doesn't help me.

I have a login saved for https://account.golem.de/login
When I now login on the site http://forum.golem.de/login.php 1Password doesn't ask to save new logins.

I'm not sure if thats a general problem, or if 1password just has a problem with handle multiple subdomains.

Hope you can help me here.

    Hi @heubergen,

Can you help me understand the connection between these two subdomains please. Are they both wanting you to use the same account to log in, so the username and password are always the same and a change in one place changes it for the other or are they two very separate accounts that you need?

The reason I ask is I can have 1Password ask to save a new Login item in both locations with one exception, if the password is the same in both. What is happening is 1Password is checking your vault and finding that the password is already saved in an item for the golem.de domain so it isn't asking if you want to create a new one.

If they're both using a single account then I would probably recommend adding the http://forum.golem.de/login.php URL as a second website field to the Login item you created for https://account.golem.de/login. That way an update to the password for one is automatically reflected when you use this Login item for the other subdomain.

If they are two very separate accounts then my personal recommendation would be to maintain separate and unique passwords to each to help keep them isolated. As a 1Password user you already have an application that will help remove the tedious part of remembering the passwords and will even help fill too

Does any of this help at all?

    Hi @littlebobbytables

Indeed, both services use the same password :)

So i changed them on both logins and now I can successfully handle both of them.

Thank you for your quick responds. You can close the request.
