With a family account, we have an extra 1GB of "secure document storage." What exactly is this? Does it refer to how much data and how many file attachments can be stored across all of the Vaults in the family account?

I've read the forums posts that talk about how 1Password is not meant to be a repository for large documents (i.e. use Knox instead). Is this "secure document storage" something different?

Hey @atow! Great question. It does indeed refer to the total size of your Documents in Families. That would be for every vault, from Personal to Shared and anything else you created. Document items are meant to be used for small things — they're each limited at 5MB. We don't recommend uploading lots of media there, aside from PDFs and images that you need to be encrypted. If you want to encrypt something larger, you can use an encrypted disk image or, if you still have it, Knox.
