Can a Mastercard number be filled as 4 separate entries?

Options

I have a utility company bill pay site whose payment form asks for a MasterCard number broken across 4 separate entry fields rather than as 1 long card number.
Is there a way to have 1P break and fill a credit number around the spaces in a number?

Thank you,
Spencer

Hi, @swift. I'm sorry, but right now, 1Password doesn't handle this kind of credit card filling. It is on our list to explore in the future, but I don't have a timeframe to share for when this would be available.

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Hi Jamie,

Thanks for confirming that I'm not missing an option at least.

Definitely not. I'm not sure why people do this honestly, especially since some cards like American Express are split up differently. Maybe it's because they think it makes it easier to enter the values when you're jumping your eyes between the card in your hand and the web page? I'd like it very much if this trend simply went away but something tells me it will be some time before it does. Luckily things like the HTML autofill specs don't have any notion of splitting up a credit card like this, and as more and more site developers embrace these patterns, it will be less and less common to see this approach show up.
