I just purchased a 1Password one user licence. I then found that I did not have an account, so I created one. However the account shows that I am on a 30 day trial. Pls clarify......

    Hi @kevinhs,

I'm sorry for the confusion with 1Password and the different ways in which it works.

There are two ways in which you can purchase and use 1Password. In one hand you can have a subscription to 1Password Families or Teams. In this case your data is hosted on our servers, you can share it with members of your family that you want and access it anywhere.

In the other hand, what you bought is a standalone license for 1Password. This is a one time purchase, your data is stored locally on your device and you sync it via Dropbox or iCloud to any other devices that you use. You only have an account if you're using 1Password Families or Teams, not with a standalone license.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else that you'd like to know about 1Password :chuffed:
