I can't access the Synapse reporting website

I have an issue filling in username/password on a particular site (http://whitecaps.skidataus.com/WhitecapsLogin/tabid/922/Default.aspx?returnurl=/caps.aspx) and wanted to go to the synapse website (https://support.1password.com/report-website) but it takes me to a not found placeholder (https://support.1password.com/search/?agsession=404&q=report website).

1Password Version: 6.2.1

I'm sorry about that, @Proggie. Here is a working link: https://support.1password.com/extension-troubleshooting/#get-more-help Can you let us know how you reached that /report-website URL? Was there a link to it somewhere?

That being said, I do see the problem on this site, and I have opened a bug report for it as well so we can investigate it further.

Thanks again for the report. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.

I searched for synapse on your website and couldn't find a working link so I did a google search and found https://synapse.agilebits.com where it links that non-working page.

    Hi @Proggie,

Sorry for the confusion. I'm sure we used to have something somewhere about this but it looks like it's gone for a wander and gotten lost.

Say you visit a site and you ask 1Password to fill using a Login, Credit Card or Identity item and 1Password makes a mess of it. What to do is bring up 1Password mini (clicking on the 1Password Browser Extension icon, the ⌥⌘\ keyboard shortcut, whichever works best for you) and click on the cog icon in the top right hand corner. This will open up a small menu and one of the options in there is to Report Website Issue. If you use this option it should open a new tab in your browser at the correct page and fill in a couple of details for you, leaving you free to describe what went wrong as we can't capture that information.

As I say, I'm sure we had a page somewhere about this but I can't find it myself so I've left a report with others to query this. I hope that helps

Thanks that worked. Is there something equivalent if i encounter a problem on ios?

@Proggie: Good question! No, 1Password for iOS doesn't have an equivalent since it doesn't have the advanced login saving capabilities of the desktop browser extensions. It seems like it might be nice to have, until I stop and realize that someone using the iOS app alone won't be able to benefit to the degree that a desktop user can. But perhaps someday we'll have more resources to work with on mobile devices too. :)

What’s the best way to report a problem on ios then? Sometimes I have an issue in ios rust is not on desktop.

@Proggie: You've come to exactly the right place! The browser filling category here in the forums is the first place AgileBits staff look to help folks having problems with logins or the extensions across all platforms. When you run into trouble, just let us know the OS, 1Password, browser/extension (if applicable), and device versions you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect and we'll be happy to help. :)
