how can I get the 1 password login to remain open for longer

During the day I have lots of need to use I password for different websites. It is a pain to have to keep reentering the I password password each time. Would like to have it stay open for the whole day or for a longer period.

    Thanks for writing in. You can adjust the security in Preferences so you get prompted fewer times. If you're on a Mac, you can follow the instructions here: https://support.1password.com/guides/mac/security-preferences.html.

    @jpadge, since you posted in the 1Password Families category, I thought maybe you might be asking about changing the auto-lock timeout on 1Password.com. This only applies if you belong to a family (or team) account. If you don't, you can ignore this, since you won't be able to sign in to 1Password.com. :)

    1. Sign in to your family account on 1Password.com.
    2. Click your account name in the top right corner.
    3. Select My Profile.
    4. Change the Auto-Lock Setting, then click Save.
