1Password 6 beta on Windows 7 not starting properly [Proxy issue]

Just installed 1Password- beta on Windows 7.First install on this machine. Ran it and it opens an empty form and stops. no error messages. Is there something else to be done?

  • Ok, it started after sitting around a while.
    Next problem, entering login info results in error message:
    "unable to sign in, please check details provided and your network connection"
    This computer is behind a corporate firewall. what protocols/ports does the app need?

    Hi @yateveo,

    That doesn't sound like you're using 1Password 4.6 since it doesn't support 1Password Teams or Families.

    Did you download 1Password 6 Beta from here: https://rink.hockeyapp.net/apps/0cb99692bcdb47abb89fad56dfd56d0c?

    If yes, does your computer network have a proxy setup? If yes, can you try the instructions in my post here to see if it will help.

  • useDefaultCredentials fixed the problem and the beta is working as expected.
