OS X text shortcut doesn't work for username in 1Password -- second attemp
Hello gang,
We've been waiting for almost a year now for you to integrate the MacOS text shortcut possibility for the username in 1Password
The old thread is called "OS X text shortcut doesn't work for username in 1Password"
Every time my email is required, I only have to do eee, or hhh, etc. and my email address is copied into the any empty field.
But for some reason that I can't figuring out, this option still doesn't work to paste a string into the "username" field
I beg you to feel our pain and sorrow for each time we're dissapointed and must enter our email manually
I have faith in you guys to make us having a better experience with 1Password :)
Cheers all :)
Johnny

Hi @johnnygoodface,
Just to confirm, this is the old discussion you're referring to?
OS X text shortcut doesn't work for username in 1Password [Known issue]
This happens in 1Password 6 because Secure Input is enable when editing an item, regardless of which field you're in.
There's a long discussion about it here (recently rekindled with new comments):
Typinator Keyboard Shortcuts & 1PW6 Secure Keyboard Mode
Would it be okay with you if this discussion were merged with that one to keep the conversation in one spot?
Cheers! :)

Hi
I am refering to https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/41903/default-username-for-new-entry#latest
And by no mean you can merged my comments with the last mentionned discussion "Typinator Keyboard Shortcuts & 1PW6 Secure Keyboard Mode"
I'll go and read more about this

I can see that you've continued this conversation on the the other thread, so we'll continue over there :chuffed:
