How can I sync my 1password vault on iOS to my new account?

I've been using 1password on my phone for a while and I have recently opened an account, so that I can sync my devices and access my passwords online. I have followed all the advice I found to sync my devices, but I've had no success. My iOS app is now linked to my account, but I can't see a way to upload the passwords on my phone to my account - the vault on my account and on my windows app still appear empty.
