cannot open primary vault. password lost

the master password was changed and then promptly forgotten. Was able to start over and use the previous password. Mac OS was reinstalled and now the old password does not work. Help

    I'm very sorry to hear that you've forgotten your Master Password. As a first step, I'd recommend you take a look at this guide and see if anything here helps you get your Master Password back: https://support.1password.com/master-password/

    If nothing there helps you, could you please give us some more details about what happened? You might be able to recover your data from a backup again, have you tried doing that?
