Please help, 1password keeps crashing on my mac

everytime I open an identity card and edit it, 1password crashes. I want to make sure there is no malware on my mac that is causing that. please advise.

    I'm sorry 1Password is crashing when you try to edit an Identity item! We'll help you solve this one way or another.

    It looks like you're using an older version of 1Password, as 6.0.1 was released last January. The latest version is currently 6.5.2, so you should definitely install the update to see if that helps. If you're using the AgileBits Store version of 1Password for Mac, open the main 1Password app and go to 1Password > Check for Updates in the menubar. If you're using the Mac App Store version, open the Mac App Store and check the Updates section.

    Once you've updated to 6.5.2, are you able to edit items correctly without crashing?
