Running on MBP 15" with touchbar. Setting up Mac from scratch, sync my 1Password data from iCloud. Opening 1Password, signing in and going to preferences/security I don't see anything for allowing Touch ID to unlock 1Password.

1Password Version: 6.5.2
Extension Version: 4.6.2
OS Version: 10.12.1
Sync Type: iCloud

@danboe assuming you've already set up touch id on your MacBook Pro please try rebooting the machine and then see if the touch id option appears in 1Password.

Edit: If that does not work you may have to try what is suggested in this AgileBits' post.

I had exactly the same. The fellows here were very helpful. The answer is simple - delete yr fingerprints in System Preferences and re-add them. By some miracle the Touch ID option appears in the 1Password Security settings.
