from "Wallet filled in wrong Credit Card Expiry Date"
I just tried credit card fill-in for the first time and the charge was declined, and upon investigation the expiry date was wrong, but it looks right in 1p, except there is some mystery number after it.

11/2013 305

I have no idea what the 305 is, my 3 digit code is something else entirely.

The 305 only shows before editing, once I hit edit, the 305 is nowhere to be found! I suppose it might be a julian date, but it would be nice to know what's going on.

AFAIK nobody cares what day of the year a card expires, but maybe in other countries?

But I don't know how you'd test w/o going almost all the way through a purchase... it was at checkout time.

Any idea what the 305 is? It isn't the julian date, I see that. If I change the calendar day of the expiry date to something else that 305 stays the same.

I hope no one will mind that I've split this into its own thread, as it deals with a pretty specific issue.

    Thanks!
