autosearching for an app always fails

When I press on the 1password button on the Android keyboard, it always fails to find the app, complaining about not being able to find com.appname.something. I know that's a java-style namespace, how do I edit a login to include the app name? I mean, does it need to go into a special field?

Hmm. So I can have a search find it if I (a) reverse the java namespace and (b) make sure it's in the first 'website' position. That kinda sucks, because it's different than the actual website for the login. Is that the only field I can put it in for search to find it?

  • Not necessarily @tedder. This is only the case for apps whose package names are not similar to their website URLs. However, for those apps, you could duplicate the Login and change the URL associated with it, so that you have one for the site and one for the app.
