Right-Click menu or ⌘-\ with multiple logins doesn't fill in.

Options

I've used 1Password for a few years now, and this problem only started happening when I updated to 1Password 6 (which was maybe a month ago. I delayed for a while because I don't like change. :P)

To clarify, the main way I've always used 1Password was when I got to the login screen of any website. I always right clicked, selected "1Password", and chose the correct account. I've only just recently found out about the ⌘-\ functionality that I wish I figured out sooner. However, the right clicking option no longer works for any site I visit, and both options no longer work when I have multiple logins for the same site.

I am on the latest version of Chrome. Since I seem to be the only one who's reporting this problem, I assume it's not a common issue. :(

    Hey @buggypac,

Sorry about the web login filling not working. May I ask if you see any red text appearing when you click on the 1Password icon in the Mac OS's menu bar (at the top of your Mac's screen) to view the 1Password Mini?

If you see anything there, what does it say?

    Best regards,
    Matthew

It says the typical "Trial Expired" text, but I've been able to use this functionality before even with the red text. If this is a new intended limitation, I'm not really quite sure about the decision to prevent right-clicking from working when using ⌘-\ typically works for one login.

    Hey @buggypac,

That explains it - if you're seeing that message, it would explain the reason why filling into web pages isn't working. The 1Password app isn't supposed to let you fill into the browser unless it has been purchased or is running in the 30-day trial mode. We noticed there were some inconsistencies in 1Password with this which we resolved in our latest update.

I would love to help you get this back up and running so you can fill in your logins and other items. If you have purchased 1Password already then I apologize about this error, please let me know how you've purchased and I can help you get this fixed. If however you happened to be running in trial mode and you haven't purchased yet then I can recommend our new service that provides another 30-day free trial you can use. It's called 1Password Memberships and in addition to enabling the full use of the filling feature, it has many other great features such as automatic cloud backup of your data and simplified sync between all your devices.

We have a great web page that explains the reasons why we think 1Password Memberships are the best way to use 1Password:

    https://support.1password.com/why-account/

I hope this helps and I'm looking forward to helping to get this back working for you.

    Best regards,
    Matthew
