Confused about versions

First let me state that I have a subscription 'Families' account that I'm very happy with. I have 1Password set up on a Windows 10 Laptop, a Windows 7 Professional Desktop at work, and my i-phone 6. Everything syncs perfectly. I'm a big fan of 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it', but I'm curious about the versions of 1Password. When I look at the bottom of the login page on the Browser, it says version301, but I keep seeing posts about version 6? Can someone explain the versions to me? I guess I should point out that I don't use the apps, I just log on via the Browser and can do all that I need to.

Hi @TDK1044 - Great question! The "version 301" refers to our 1Password memberships. We're always refining the experience and we release updates when necessary so we're currently rocking version 301. You can also keep up-to-date with the changes here (which reminds me, we have to update it) - https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/B5

As far as version 6, this is referring to our standalone apps for the Mac or Windows. You can check out the release notes for either app here - https://1password.com/downloads/ - just click "see what's new" to check out the notes.

I hope this was helpful and great question. I'm glad you asked :-)
